From Heart to Stomach is open for submissions!

From Heart to Stomach publishes work exclusively done by Queer persons; we accept poetry, fiction, nonfiction, photography, and other artwork. To be accepted, submissions should align in some way with our themes of Queerness and cannibalism. This can be taken broadly, but we want pieces that include language and/or imagery representative of such. If you have questions about whether your piece qualifies, assume that it does, and we can work with you! We accept work by established and emerging writers from all over the world. We love discovering new writers and artists, and aim to accept unpublished pieces first and foremost.

If you have questions and/or wish to submit your work, contact Editor Austin Lawrence via email: fromheart2stomach@gmail.com. Please include a brief bio with your submissions, and please only submit up to 3 pieces for each genre of writing and 5 pieces for any artwork. There are no fees for submissions.

Poetry- up to 4 pages long

Fiction & Nonfiction work - up to 10,000 words

Please submit writing in .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .odf file formats

 

Photography & Other Artwork - up to 5 pieces

Please submit artwork in JPG, TIFF or PNG file formats
